About Affirmations
Affirmations is a story about a girl, Mary-Ellen Kline, who graduated from college in the mid-1990s, when the story takes place. She is now a graduate student, living at home with her parents. One friend, a former catalog model, finds herself married and developing into an alcoholic. Another, the daughter of successful drug dealers, finds that her parents aren't agreeing with her choice of boyfriends. And of course, there's the boy situation. Will Mary-Ellen fall in love with the young man she was mean to back in high school?
